Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 47.5mm bore x 45.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 80.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The XR80R was fitted with a 1.8 Gallon (6.80 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 154.1 pounds (69.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 47.6 inches (1209 mm) long.
